Julia’s Grace Foundation
Julia’s Grace Foundation
This has been one of the most rewarding projects we’ve been a part of, and I am happy to see it go live today.
8 year old Julia Grace Eveland lost her battle with cancer in September of 2013.
I was introduced to her mother, Janet, last fall, through a mutual friend, and we started working on the project in December. There have been lots of delays and changes as the goal was to get the website to have the look and feel the most represented Julia.
Although I never met Julia, you can read Janet’s detailed blog posts covering the last few years and quickly see what an amazing young person she was.
And now the foundation is set to “keep fighting” in behalf of Julia.
Julia’s Grace Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to honor Julia’s dreams and wishes.
Julia’s Grace Foundation helps children fighting cancer and their families by providing support to make the days “normal”. Remembering that kids need to be kids and everyone needs a “hug”, the Julia’s Grace Foundation offers opportunities for special family moments, whether at home, in the hospital or at public events and venues.
Julia’s Grace Foundation also supports childhood cancer research and increases public awareness about childhood cancer.

Charles Eisenstein
Charles Eisenstein
Well. This was a big project. Not just because of the scope of the website (230+ pages) but also because of the person represented by the website.
We often work in a Gift Economy since April 2012. We started after reading Sacred Economics by Charles Eisenstein. The ideas written in that book by Charles set us on a new path that has made all the difference.
Having the opportunity to help him redesign and rebuild his website has been an incredible experience. It afforded us the opportunity to delve into his work on a very intimate level, as we shaped the content for each page. It also allowed us to get to know Charles on a first-name basis, and that is priceless.
Charles had a very distinct vision for this site, and we worked together along with his assistant Marie (who did a lot of the heavy lifting and key conflict resolution when Charles and I had different ideas) for months to reach the final version.
We are very proud of this project. We want you to take a look at it, not just to see the work we did, but also because we want you to get to know the ideas that Charles is working to spread and make them a part of your life, too.
